10. BhuMeet Mitra A.I.

The BhuMeet Mitra A.I. feature in the BhuMeet Customer Mobile Application enables farmers to ask farming and crop-related questions directly within the app.
The A.I. provides quick guidance on pest management, crop health, market prices, and agricultural best practices. You can ask questions by typing, speaking, or uploading an image.

⚠️ Warning: BhuMeet Mitra A.I. generates suggestions for guidance only. Always verify responses with your agronomist or local expert before taking action.

10.1 Accessing BhuMeet Mitra A.I.

You can open BhuMeet Mitra A.I. in three ways:

  1. From the Home Screen
    • Open the Home screen.
    • Tap ASK NOW in the “Ask BhuMeet Mitra A.I.” section.

2. From the More Menu (⋯)

    • Tap More (three-dot icon) on the bottom navigation bar.
    • Select Bhu A.I. from the menu.

10.2 First-Time Onboarding: “How to Ask Questions?”

The first time you open BhuMeet Mitra A.I., a help card appears titled “How to ask questions?”.
It shows three options:

  • Speak your question
  • Upload your image
  • Type your question

Tap Got It to continue to the main A.I. screen.

ℹ️ This help card appears only the first time (or after reinstall/clearing app data).

10.3 A.I. Screen Overview

The A.I. chat screen has the following:

  • Guidance banner:
    “A.I.-generated suggestions are for guidance only…” with Learn More and an X to dismiss.

  • Conversation area:
    • Messages grouped under a “Today”
    • Your spoken question appears as an audio waveform bubble you can play.
    • I. replies may include Copy | Listen | Stop buttons.
    • Animated dots (…) appear while A.I. is preparing a reply.
    • You may see “Please wait… We are working on your response.” (🌱) before the reply arrives.

  • Input options at the bottom:
    • Type – open keyboard to type a question.
    • Speak (🎤) – record your question.
    • Upload image (🖼️) – attach crop photos for analysis.
    • In text mode you may also see quick chips like Tap to Speak, Upload Image & Ask, and a Send (➤)

10.4 Ask by Typing (Text)

  1. Tap the Type
  2. Enter your question (e.g., “Yellowing leaves in onions—what could be the cause?”).
  3. Tap Send (➤).

System feedback:

  • Your message appears in the chat.
  • Animated dots (…) show while A.I. prepares a reply.
  • The reply appears with options Copy | Listen | Stop.

10.5 Ask by Speaking (Voice)

  1. Tap Speak (🎤).
  2. Depending on your device, you may see one of two dialogs:
    • Dialog : “We are listening.” with Cancel and Submit.

3. Speak your question clearly.

4. Tap Send/Submit.

System feedback:

  • Your voice note appears as an audio waveform bubble with a play button.
  • I. shows “Please wait… We are working on your response.” 🌱
  • The reply arrives with Copy | Listen | Stop

🔊 Controls:

  • Copy – saves the answer text.
  • Listen – plays the reply with text-to-speech.
  • Stop – cancels a long reply or playback.

10.6 Ask with an Image (Photo)

  1. Tap Upload image / Upload Image & Ask / Attach image.
  2. Choose Image Source: Select Camera or Gallery.
  3. In Confirm Your Selection, review the image and tap Submit.

  1. (Optional) Add a caption (e.g., “Are these brown spots a fungal issue?”) and tap Send.

System feedback:

  • Your image appears in the chat with a timestamp.
  • I. may request more details or extra images if needed.
  • The reply is displayed below your photo.

💡 Tips for best results:

  • Take clear, well-lit photos.
  • Show both close-up symptoms and wider crop area.
  • Mention recent sprays or treatments if relevant.

10.7 Reading & Using A.I. Replies

  • Copy – copy advice to clipboard.
  • Listen – hear the answer in audio.
  • Stop – cancel a long reply.
  • Follow-ups – you can ask again (e.g., “Tell me more about this”).

System feedback: Your follow-up appears in the same thread; A.I. responds accordingly.

10.8 Typical Responses You’ll See

  • Market guidance:g., tomato prices (₹10–30/kg) with notes on season and fluctuation.
  • Disease lists & management:g., Blight (Early/Late) with fungus names and control measures.
  • Image-based crop health:g., spinach leaves healthy + water management tips.
⚠️ Always double-check chemical use recommendations with a local agronomist.

10.9 Troubleshooting

  • Microphone not working: Enable mic permission in Settings → Apps → BhuMeet → Permissions.
  • Image won’t upload: Check your internet and ensure the photo is clear, well-lit, and not too large.
  • No/unclear answers: Add crop name, stage, symptoms, recent sprays, and field conditions.
  • Banner always visible: Dismiss it with X; it reappears when app restarts.

10.10 Privacy & Data

  • Photos and questions you share are used to generate answers and improve service.
  • Review the app’s Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions in Settings.
